Peggy Post, Emily Post's great-granddaughter-in-law, is director
and spokesperson of The Emily Post
Institute. The institute, based in Burlington, Vermont,
maintains and updates the works of the legendary Emily Post.
Peggy is the author of more than a dozen books, including Emily Post's
Etiquette; Emily Post's Wedding
Etiquette; "Excuse Me, But I Was
Next...": How to Handle the Top 100 Manners Dilemmas; Emily Post's The Etiquette
Advantage in Business: Personal Skills for Professional Success,
Second Edition (written with Peter
Post); and Emily Post's Table Manners
for Kids (coauthored with Cindy
Post Senning, Ed.D.). Her newest book, launched in October 2011, is
the 18th edition of Emily Post's Etiquette, which she has
coauthored with the next generation of the Post family.
Peggy writes a monthly column in Good Housekeeping.
Peggy also writes a biweekly wedding etiquette column in the online
Sunday Styles section of The New York Times, and is
actively involved in the development of Emily Post Wedding, a line
of wedding invitations.
Peggy's TV appearances include Oprah, Dr. Phil, The View,
Live with Regis and Kelly, the Today show, Good Morning America,
Dateline, VH1, and CNN. She conducts lectures and
seminars for businesses and community groups across the
country.
