Letitia Baldrige began writing on manners and protocol during
her diplomatic service in 1949, and she has been hailed on the
cover of Time magazine as "America's leading arbiter of
manners."
Before she died in October 2012, she wrote over 20 books on
manners, entertaining, interior design and style as well as four
autobiographies. She was a partner of Baldrige & Lewris
(formerly Letitia Baldrige Enterprises, Inc., established
1964).
