Religious Leaders
A religious leader is a person you can count on before, during
or after someone you love dies. They will provide you with
emotional support and are often available to help guide you through
the decisions to be made when planning an end-of-life
celebration.
If you are not a member of a religious organization but would
like to incorporate religion into your ceremony, you can still
contact a religious leader. You should look for someone whose faith
is similar your own by asking family and friends for
recommendations. For more information on funeral traditions by
faith, visit Heart2Soul's religious traditions page.
Religious leaders do not charge a fee for their services, but it
is customary to give an honorarium as a token of appreciation for
their time and support.
